It is a digital art object that immerses one into the history of the Neumarkt 40 house in Zeitz and its inhabitants.

The object itself is a digital avatar of a historical character, a bartender who in the early 20th century worked in the bar located in this house. You can chat with the character, ask him questions about the house, about the people, about significant events.

The historical facts and photographs used for the dialogues of the avatar are taken from an archive that has been collected for 25 years by a local Zeitz resident. They go into the historical period from 1890 to 1945, and will also take in the modern times of 2022 to 2023.
